Aluminum three-piece mess kit of the German Army, similar to those distributed to German soldiers in World War II. The 'Kochgeschirr' was designed and introduced in the late 19th century. Later variations were used in both world wars.
It consists of three parts: the large 'pot', the medium one, and the lid. The lid and the medium piece are connected to each other with the lid's handle. The large pot has a socket at its base for the lid's handle to secure it. There is also a 'tunnel' to pass a strap through if desired. This way, you can secure the kit from accidental opening. Ideal for camping and bushcraft excursions.
