Awkward Guests 2: The Berwick Cases is a game designed for two players or teams. It is a dice game of mystery and deduction where players try to solve the murder of one of the Berwick twin sisters... and plan the murder of the other sister.

The games depict the two murders of the Berwick sisters in different ways. Players take on different roles in each case. In one, they act as the planners of the murder, and in the other as the investigators trying to solve the crime. The first investigator to answer the following questions correctly wins the game:

• WHO killed Beatrice/Berenice Berwick?
• HOW did the murderer end her life?
• WHY did the murderer kill her?

In turn, the investigators:

• Roll the question dice.
• Place the results on the game board according to the information they wish to obtain from their opponent, the planner. This way, they can examine suspects, ask questions to the household staff, investigate the crime scene, search for clues around the Berwick Mansions, and consult police reports.
• The planner reveals the requested information. With this information, the investigator can draw conclusions and advance the case.
