In this competitive storytelling game, players play as "Creeps" and craft wonderfully horrific stories to send bad people to the death they deserve. The game is played with story cards and suspense cards. The story cards work together to form a chain that tells a story for each villain in three acts. The suspense cards are the fuel that makes the story work!

On your turn, you will have the option to either "Creep" or "Show"! When you "Creep," you may first discard any number of Story cards in your hand that you no longer want and then draw back up to 7. Then, you must play a suspense card (valued at -2, 1, 2, or 3) face down onto any villain's stack so that other players don't know what you played. When you "Show," you can play a story card from your hand onto a villain's story chain. These will have various effects from earning points, looking at the suspense already there, and adding your own suspense cards.

When a villain is in the 3rd act of their story, instead of using the "Show" action, you could play an available ending card to potentially earn big points if the story has enough suspense! When this happens, the player with the most suspense will also score this villain card and earn bonus points! The game ends when the big bad's story is finished.

Regardless of your strategy, use the suspense cards wisely and try not to let any of the villains escape the fate they worked so hard to earn.
