Notable switch, one of the most economical 24-port ones on the market from what I had searched 1.5 months ago when I ordered it at 77 euros. It is unmanaged and therefore plug-n-play, which is just right for us amateurs/beginners.
Sturdy construction, comes with a bag of screws and extensions to mount it in a rack (the screws for mounting it in the rack are not included, only the screws for the extensions).
I opened it and tested it to make sure the ports work and that I get the speeds I want. I had made a mistake in 1 of the 4 pairs of the UTP, resulting in getting at most <100 Mbps on a 300 Mbps line. It took me 3 hours but I managed to find the mistake. It works perfectly.
It will be installed in a 19" 6U rack in my apartment where it will distribute LAN network to 2 x cameras, 1 x access point and 8 x wall sockets. I will update if there is anything new.

Το άνοιξα και το δούλεψα δοκιμαστικά να δω ότι δουλεύουν οι θύρες και ότι πιάνω τις ταχύτητες που θέλω. Είχα κάνει ένα λάθος σε 1 απο τα 4 ζεύγη του UTP με αποτέλεσμα να πιάνω το πολύ <100 Mbps σε γραμμή 300 Mbps. Μου έφαγε 3 ώρες αλλά κατάφερα και το βρήκα το λάθος. Δουλέυει άψογα.
Θα τοποθετηθεί σε 19" rack 6U του διαμερίσματος μου όπου θα διαμοιράζει LAN δίκτυο σε 2 x κάμερες, 1 x access point και 8 x πρίζες τοίχου. Θα επανέλθω για οτιδήποτε νεότερο.
TP-link = reliability! And the same applies here. Plug & play as these devices should be, after all. Once you set it up to "play," you usually don't need to deal with it again for many years! Personally, I installed it when I 'had to' upgrade from 100mbps switches to faster ones due to Starlink... and it does its job perfectly, and on the intranet, I have whatever the dish catches (>300mbps).

I opened it and tested it to make sure the ports work and that I get the speeds I want. I had made a mistake in 1 of the 4 pairs of the UTP, resulting in getting at most <100 Mbps on a 300 Mbps line. It took me 3 hours but I managed to find the mistake. It works perfectly.
It will be installed in a 19" 6U rack in my apartment where it will distribute LAN network to 2 x cameras, 1 x access point and 8 x wall sockets. I will update if there is anything new.
Αξιόλογο switch, απο τα πιο οικονομικά 24άρια της αγοράς απο ότι είχα ψάξει πριν 1,5 μήνα που το παρήγγειλα στα 77 ευρώ. Είναι unmanaged και άρα plug-n-play και εμάς τους ερασιτέχνες/αρχάριους ότι πρέπει.
Στιβαρή κατασκευή, σακουλάκι με βίδες και προεκτάσεις για να μπει σε rack (δεν δίνονται οι βίδες για το βίδωμα του σε rack αλλά οι βίδες για τις προεκτάσεις).
Το άνοιξα και το δούλεψα δοκιμαστικά να δω ότι δουλεύουν οι θύρες και ότι πιάνω τις ταχύτητες που θέλω. Είχα κάνει ένα λάθος σε 1 απο τα 4 ζεύγη του UTP με αποτέλεσμα να πιάνω το πολύ <100 Mbps σε γραμμή 300 Mbps. Μου έφαγε 3 ώρες αλλά κατάφερα και το βρήκα το λάθος. Δουλέυει άψογα.
Θα τοποθετηθεί σε 19" rack 6U του διαμερίσματος μου όπου θα διαμοιράζει LAN δίκτυο σε 2 x κάμερες, 1 x access point και 8 x πρίζες τοίχου. Θα επανέλθω για οτιδήποτε νεότερο.
TP-link = reliability! And the same applies here. Plug & play as these devices should be, after all. Once you set it up to "play," you usually don't need to deal with it again for many years! Personally, I installed it when I 'had to' upgrade from 100mbps switches to faster ones due to Starlink... and it does its job perfectly, and on the intranet, I have whatever the dish catches (>300mbps).
TP-link = αξιοπιστία! Και εδώ ισχύει το ίδιο λοιπόν. Plug & play όπως θα έπρεπε να είναι άλλωστε αυτές οι συσκευές. Άπαξ και το βάλλεις να "παίξει" συνήθως δεν χρειάζεται να ασχοληθείς μαζί του εκ νέου για πολλά χρόνια!
Προσωπικά το έβαλα όταν 'έπρεπε' να εξελιχθώ από τα switches των 100mbps σε ταχύτερα λόγω starlink .... και κάνει μια χαρά τη δουλειά του και στο intranet έχω ότι πιάνει το πιάτο (>300mbps).

To my friend who complains about burnt devices:
In an industrial environment with noise, voltage spikes, or power supply instabilities, conditions often encountered in industrial zones or remote areas,
even equipment from well-known manufacturers worth thousands of euros would not survive.
If the operating conditions are as I described, put it on an isolation transformer and UPS.
Not even Cisco would survive, let alone the pure Chinese TP-link.

Σε βιομηχανικό περιβάλλον με θορύβους, spikes στη τάση, ή αστάθειες στην τάση τροφοδοσίας, συνθήκες που συναντάμε συχνά σε βιομηχανικές ζώνες ή απομακρυσμένες περιοχές,
δεν επιβιώνει ούτε εξοπλισμός πολύ επώνυμων κατασκευαστών της τάξης των χιλιάδων €.
Αν οι συνθήκες λειτουργίας είναι αυτές που περιγράφω βάλτο πάνω σε Μετασχηματιστή απομόνωσης και UPS.
Oύτε Cisco θα επιβίωνε, πόσο μάλλον το αμιγές κινέζικο TP-link.
This particular switch is used in industrial installations, in a structured network installation. It is useless! It burns for no reason, resulting in constant returns and replacements. This specific one is a waste of money. Also, you trust the brand and even though you know you are buying something good, it is truly the most useless switch out there! Finally, the entire industry not having internet for such a thing.. what can I say!

Τέλος, ολόκληρη βιομηχανία, να μην έχει internet για ένα τέτοιο πράγμα.. τι να πω!
