Description

Uncover the origins of organized crime in Mafia: The Old Country, a gritty mafia story set in the brutal underworld of 1900s Sicily. Fight to survive as Enzo Favara and prove your worth to the Family in this immersive third-person action-adventure set in a dangerous, unforgiving era.

Enzo will do anything for a better life. After a harsh childhood of forced labor, he is ready to risk everything to become a man of honor in the criminal Torisi family.

His oath to the Mafia, with all the power, temptation, and hardships it brings, serves as a burning reminder of this simple truth:

Family makes sacrifices.

This thrilling narrative comes to life with stunning graphics, cinematic storytelling, and the authentic realism for which the Mafia series is renowned, earning it outstanding reviews. Enzo's story unfolds in a time when skill with a stiletto blade was a deadly advantage, a sawed-off Lupara shotgun was a staple firearm, murderous vendettas raged for decades, and mobsters patrolled their protection rackets on foot, horseback, or behind the wheel of early-century cars.

The rugged beauty of Sicily's wild countryside stands in stark contrast to the filth of the urban alleys – but the betrayal and violence of this gang are just as intense. Rival families and their ruthless leaders wage endless wars for dominance in the shadows, hidden from the public eye. Trust is fleeting and loyalty is worth killing for.

You are the antihero of this thrilling story set in 1900, experiencing every tense moment of Enzo's descent into the illegal criminal underworld of Sicily. Come face to face with a cast of unpredictable allies and ruthless enemies in this classic crime drama, rich in authentic period details that will immerse you in this dangerous Mediterranean setting.

Take part in life-and-death battles, either up close with a blade or from a distance with a variety of firearms. Ambush enemies for brutal stealth takedowns or slice them up in close combat duels. If you prefer firearms, use authentic period pistols, rifles, and shotguns to overcome any odds and relentlessly eliminate Don's enemies.

Traverse a wide range of Sicilian environments, from underground crypts and crumbling ruins to lush vineyards and ornate opera theaters. To reach your next objective or make a quick escape, you'll need to gallop on horseback through cobblestone streets and open fields or speed down dirt roads in authentic early-century cars.

  • The game is nice, it's worth it, but there are some lags and also it would be better if the story was longer and not short, and it's not worth buying it for that kind of money because it's short

The game makes promises it doesn't fulfill. Boring fights every now and then, an extremely predictable story and mainly: Many of you won't finish it. There is an unbelievably annoying battle right before the end that makes you finish the game as a spectator on YouTube. Tragic.

It is a wonderful way to spend 15 hours. Great atmosphere, satisfying gameplay, but it feels like a showcase for something bigger. If they keep this foundation and create the new Mafia with a good story and a few improvements, they will make an amazing game. Quite a pleasant surprise.

The world is a bit empty without exploration, the upgrades and the many weapons-knives do not offer anything different, and the graphics could have been better. The game lasts about 10 hours, the story is excellent with plenty of dialogues which are not tiring at all and with strong performances. The driving is excellent and the music is wonderful.

As a big fan of the Mafia games since the very first one, the old country, overall you disappointed me, it was more like a movie than a game, I was already bored halfway through the game, I finished it but I have no intention of playing it again, very nice graphics and sound but if the gameplay is lacking, for me it's a no.

Very good short story that didn't make me get bored. It still needs a bit of polishing. The graphics, for the generation we live in, could be better. It should be open world for this type of game. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and I recommend it at the 50 euros I bought it for. If it was 70 and above, I would wait for the price to drop a bit because it's not worth more than 50

The story is somewhat interesting but that's about it. You are very limited in the game and not at all free like in the previous Mafia games where you could do whatever you wanted in the city and they resembled GTA; all the movements are very mechanical and restricted. This one I would say resembles Sniper Elite more. The graphics are decent but there were many areas that were somewhat blurry, probably not well processed—I don't know if this will be fixed with some update. Finally, I don't think it's worth the 50 euros.

The story, as in all the Mafia games, is very good, the gameplay and graphics are reminiscent of the PS4 era. It is definitely worth it for the fans, but not at the price they are asking. At around €25 it will definitely be worth it. The story lasts about 9-10 hours and apart from that, there isn't much else to do

A game with an amazing story and graphics. You feel like you're watching a movie (just like MAFIA 3). Personally, I would have liked the story to be a bit longer, but even so, for its price, it deserves 5 stars

for the €45 they sell it for, very good quality, a nice story like a movie, very well-crafted combat with knives. bonus points if you play it on ps5 pro, I set it to quality mode with unlocked framerate and it's gorgeous, and the range is 50 to 60 fps (I have a vrr tv and I don't feel any drops that might occur). First unreal engine 5 game that runs without bringing the machine to its knees (I'm talking about you oblivion remastered)

Nice story but unfortunately that's about it. The gameplay and graphics of the game do not correspond to the current era, it feels like a game from 6 years ago. If it ever drops to €20 it's worth trying. €50 is too much and it is not worth it
