The SmallRig 4772 HawkLock Quick Release Half Cage is designed for the Sony FX3 and FX30. It protects the camera and provides mounting points for accessories. Its modular design consists of a top plate with a NATO rail and an L-shaped cage. The rail can be removed to install the camera’s original XLR top handle.

HawkLock quick-release points are integrated into the accessory shoe, NATO rail, and Arca-Swiss plate, allowing compatible accessories to slide into place and lock automatically. The base features an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate. The cage also has 1/4"-20 threaded holes, an ARRI 3/8"-16 locating hole, 1/4"-20 locating holes, a QD socket, and a strap slot. A magnetic tool is included for installation and removal.
