I was not satisfied. Essentially, it is a deep baking dish with a lid rather than a casserole dish. The lid is lightweight (since it is a thin sheet of metal) and does not fit well, resulting in significant steam loss and requiring me to add twice as much water as in another good casserole dish, but then the food becomes either watery or dry (depending on the amount of water I add). Additionally, the grill has a very sparse mesh. I ultimately solved the above problem by placing a stone on top of the lid during cooking to weigh it down and close it better!! I give it two and a half stars only because of its good price and spacious size. It is better to get the corresponding smaller size or a more expensive one.

Το καπάκι είναι ελαφρύ (αφού είναι μια λαμαρίνα σε πάχος) και δεν εφαρμόζει καλά με αποτέλεσμα να υπάρχει μεγάλη απώλεια ατμού και να αναγκάζομαι να προσθέτω υπερδιπλάσιο νερό από ότι σε μια άλλη καλή γάστρα, έτσι όμως το φαγητό γίνεται ή νερόβραστο ή ξερό (ανάλογα του νερού που θα ρίξω). Επίσης η σχάρα έχει πολύ αραιό το πλέγμα της. Το παραπάνω πρόβλημα το περιόρισα τελικά κατά 30-40% τοποθετώντας μια πέτρα πάνω στο καπάκι την ώρα του ψησίματος για να βαραίνει και να κλείνει καλύτερα!! Δυόμιση αστέρια βάζω κι αυτά λόγω καλής τιμής και ευρύχωρου μεγέθους. Καλύτερα πάρτε την αντίστοιχη μικρότερη σε μέγεθος ή κάποια άλλη ακριβότερη.
