Capturing images in low light conditions is not a problem with the bright maximum aperture of f/1.8. It features a minimum focusing distance of 50cm and has a stepping motor for autofocus movement, which aids in silent and quick performance. An extra-low dispersion (ED) element reduces chromatic aberration and color fringing for greater sharpness and accuracy.

Optical Construction

The optical design includes ten elements in nine groups that work together to reduce dispersion and chromatic aberration. Among these are one ED element and two high-index elements.

Eye Detection

The focusing accuracy provided by eye detection makes it easier to capture images while ensuring that your subject is in focus. This is also beneficial for tracking your subject when shooting video, ensuring smooth and focused shots.

Lens Design
