I can say that this is one of the best purchases I have made and very value for money! At first, I wanted to go for a Maui, but the cost was 50% higher without offering anything more. So I decided to try this one. Tested in Cycladic winds, it performed excellently, but with certain conditions. The important thing for beach umbrellas is to buy those bases that screw into the sand. The trendy ones that you hammer in to get as deep as possible, I think, are very expensive for what they offer, while the plastic screw-in type can be found for only €2 and does the same, maybe even a better job. From my experience on the windy beaches of the Cyclades, I used the screw-in base mentioned above and in very difficult conditions, when the wind was almost lifting us, I simply used a wire that goes through the plastic holes the umbrella has every 2 axes. So, with a simple base and a rope to hold the umbrella down from the side where the wind comes from so it doesn't lift, you will easily enjoy your holidays. My personal and tested opinion is that you don't need to spend more than €30 for an umbrella. If you want something for more shade, invest in a canopy.
