Description

Description

The PRO ARC inverter series is intended for purely professional use.

It is suitable for welding with electrode (MMA) or TIG tongs.

It has Hot Start, Arc Force and Anti Stick functions.

Hot-Start ignition (adds electrical power - current - for a smooth start of welding)

Anti-Stick (stops the welding current if the electrode "sticks" to the material)

Arc-Force (ensures homogeneous welding even when the distance between electrode and surface is not constant). They can also be used with a generator. Welding with cellulose, rutile, basic and inox electrodes.

Capabilities

Inverter welding MMA / TIG from the manufacturer Imperia, where inverter technology enhances the performance and durability of the machine and helps reduce its weight. The MMA electrode method creates thick and strong welds without the need for an external gas supply, making it ideal for welding outside the workshop. While the TIG method is suitable for slow welding on aluminum and stainless steel that requires detailed work and does not create splashes. It can operate continuously for 3.5 minutes at 200A before needing to stop to cool down. Therefore, due to the maximum Amps it supports, it melts thicker wires more easily and creates thick welds with fewer passes. Its weight reaches 5.5kg.

I have had it since 2018, I bought the 200pro to weld only thick steel beams, solid axles, railings, digging tools, boilers, generally anything thicker than 4mm. It welds fantastically for its cheap price. I have the 200a, its cables heat up a lot, so I changed them to thicker and longer ones. It is not suitable for fancy work and production, for production it requires tools over €1500. For my daily work, not gas, it works perfectly for 1 meter. It works all day without heating up or stopping, I recommend it. If you want it for home use, get the smaller one because one day I brought it home and it tripped a 16A circuit breaker. For home and work on household electricity, they should prefer the 160A

For professional use, it doesn't work.. It didn't last 3 weeks on the production line. Supposedly it was the backup for the good one...

Being an amateur, I bought the welding machine two years ago for amateur use but ended up "changing its lights" :)
It is so easy to use that after the first window I made for a warehouse, I gained momentum and started making doors, fences, and many other things in my village house.
When I got more comfortable with it, I even built industrial furniture for the children's room, which turned out amazing, both in lightweight construction and heavy-duty.
I have worked with electrodes up to 3.5mm, which the machine handles effortlessly at 60-70 amperes.
Needless to say, it has never stopped working during use. Just imagine last year in the village, I was welding under the scorching sun for 5-6 hours straight.
The truth is, I don't have much experience with other welding machines, but I appreciate how much this particular one has helped me gain some experience with its ease of use.
If I had the money, I would also buy a wire feeder to "complete the package" :)
Very convenient, lightweight, with long cables, just what I need.
