I had understood that it would just be another light read but I did not expect it to be so silly and boring. I really tried to read it but after the first 110 pages I couldn't manage anymore and I gave up.

It's just right for summer reading. It also reminded me a lot of Gossip Girl. At some points I feel it drags a little, but it didn't tire me.

One of the best books I have ever read! If you are a fan of Gossip Girl you will definitely love this book. Romance, scandals, fashion. This book has it all!

So, the story goes like this:
A group of rich kids who find family in their friends and flaunt their money. Then there’s a bad boy who hurt a spoiled girl and ever since, she’s been relentlessly getting back at him. Many will only understand this, because that’s all they’ll want to see, but everyone else will see how deeply and destructively love can scar you, even if you’ve tried to love many times in your life.
Magnolia and BJ may seem like very superficial characters, but they’re not. If you look deeper, you’ll see how justified both of their wrong behaviors are in their relationship and how their own mistakes have shaped two people who are clinging to a sick love. Their chemistry is sweet, it reminds you of that pure teenage love you’ll never get over, and their dynamic is palpable!!!! Yes! If anything characterizes this book, it’s the dynamic of this couple.

If it were any other book, many things would bother me, but because this book is so real and describes such a toxic relationship so perfectly, nothing bothers me, because what could bother me about the truth that describes reality?

I recommend it to those who, once upon a time, loved many times in order to be loved once and for all

Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings is one of those books that makes you feel like you're watching a luxurious, emotionally charged reality show, starring two people who can't live together or apart. It also really reminded me of Gossip Girl.

The story unfolds in modern London and follows Magnolia Parks, a young socialite with flawless style and a life full of parties, and BJ Ballentine, her ex, who remains the only man she has truly loved. Their relationship is a continuous cycle of passion, betrayal, and reunions, full of tension and emotional ups and downs.

What drew me in was the intensity and authenticity of their feelings. Even though their relationship is toxic, I couldn't stop reading, wanting to see how it would unfold. The author masterfully conveys the complexity of relationships and emotions, making me feel every pain and joy they experience.

The book is full of references to fashion designers and luxury lifestyle, adding a sense of cosmopolitan atmosphere. However, beneath the surface, it explores themes such as trust, forgiveness, and the search for love in a world full of challenges.

I didn't relate, it didn't move me deeply, but I had a good time and it kept me engaged. If you like messy love stories with characters you don't know whether you want to love or shake, or if you're looking for a story full of tension, passion, and emotional chaos, Magnolia Parks is for you.
