Nothing is proven about anthocyanins. There are indications for all these berries (blueberries, cranberries, among them strawberries) activating anti-aging mechanisms, but this is in cell cultures and nothing is proven in real clinical trials in humans. They are certainly good as whole fruits, but isolating only the anthocyanins and swallowing them probably does absolutely nothing (it shouldn’t do any harm though). Also, I don’t know why it says “supplement for anxiety.” What do anthocyanins have to do with anxiety? Nothing. Charlatan stuff.
Since I mentioned “swallowing,” the capsules are huge and difficult to swallow. It’s like swallowing a whole suppository. They could easily have made them half the size and said “take two.” In the picture I see it says “95 softgels” (which are very easy to swallow). What I received had 60 large capsules.
It would also be good if they had more detailed instructions like “do not chew – take with full/empty/it doesn’t matter stomach – take in the morning/evening/it doesn’t matter, etc.”.
