Be careful with some games, it might freeze (soft reset of the card and exit from the game) due to Nvidia drivers. After the recent updates (January 2026), the freezes have been minimized, and they stopped completely after setting the motherboard to Gen3 (b450 chipset) instead of auto. In terms of performance, it is excellent for 1920x1080 and 2560x1080; above that, you will miss the memory. Temperatures reach up to 70 degrees in a case without additional fans. Together with the Ryzen 5600 (non X) you have perfect balance. It is worth upgrading only if you have a 3060 or lower.

A very mediocre product from Nvidia. 8GB of VRAM on a 300 euro card in the year 2026 is at least laughable and hinders the card's core, which can handle heavy settings in some games that require more VRAM, which simply isn't there. 12GB should be the minimum for such a card. Combined with a laughable 128-bit bus, it means that if you don't have PCIe 5, you'll often have a bottleneck in memory bandwidth, especially on PCIe 3 where the problems are severe. The core is mediocre to okay in power, but the fact that it's comparable to the 3070, which is a tier above but two generations behind, is bad; we should be at levels close to the 3080. After all, the 3060 was better than the 1080, and the 1060 was very close to the 980 and better than the 780ti. We've said goodbye to 50% power increases for years now, and 15% has become the norm. This version is also mediocre to okay in temperatures and mediocre in hardware (VRM etc.).

I built a PC and had a low budget, so I ultimately chose a relatively weak graphics card BUT of the latest generation. Which means full support from Nvidia's software, which really works wonders. I got it for €300 and I was extremely satisfied, one star less for the 8GB vram, but don't worry guys, it plays everything and doesn't break a sweat, even without the help of dlss, fg. It doesn't lag anywhere. I didn't regret it at all.

One star is removed due to 8GB VRAM, which is unacceptable for the latest generation. Also, the construction feels somewhat plasticky; at first, this worried me, but to my surprise, it has very good performance. It does not reach high temperatures, despite its small size. It is also almost silent; you can barely hear the air from the fans at full load. If you take advantage of DLSS and tweak the settings a bit, you can play quite a few titles in 4K at 60+ fps. Unfortunately, due to the 8GB VRAM, if you try to enable frame generation, you end up with fewer frames instead of more. So at high resolutions, FG is useless with this particular card. If your budget allows, I would definitely recommend the Ti with 16GB.

  • Be careful with some games, it might freeze (soft reset of the card and exit from the game) due to Nvidia drivers.

  • A very mediocre product from Nvidia.

  • I built a PC and had a low budget, so I ultimately chose a relatively weak graphics card BUT of the latest generation.
