Its closed design makes it a reliable companion for recording and monitoring tasks. Enjoy versatile and high-performance studio quality that inspires.

STELLAR.45 – MAXIMUM SOUND FIDELITY ON ANY DEVICE

Whether in the studio, on the go, or on a laptop, the STELLAR.45 driver (5–40,000 Hz) delivers impressive audio accuracy in every setting. A neodymium magnet and a precision copper-plated coil ensure low-distortion sound, even at high volumes. With a resistance of 48 ohms, it provides studio-quality sound even on devices with low output power.

More freedom, more possibilities: The DT 770 PRO X features a detachable cable with a locking mini-XLR connector for maximum stability. With a 3.5 mm jack and a 6.3 mm adapter, it connects to almost any device. Your studio, your rules.

THE MOST COMFORTABLE 770 EVER

The studio emblem meets ultimate comfort: The iconic velvety ear cushions of the DT 770 PRO X remain comfortable even during long sessions. The sturdy spring steel headband ensures a perfect fit, while the replaceable headband adapts perfectly to the shape of your head – now with a new fontanelle recess for even better comfort.

I believe I made the best choice I have ever made with these headphones.

I used gaming headsets, especially the (Zeroground Keiji), for at least 6-7 years. The sound quality from gaming headsets is incredible, and you can hear it immediately.

These new models are the best choice for you if you do not want to buy a DAC and just want to plug and play on your PC motherboard (do not connect them to your controller or anything else, you will get trash quality).

These new ones are especially nice, since you can remove the old (or damaged) cable and connect a new one that costs about 20 euros (the same thing you can do with the ear pads and the headband).

They also have newer and better drivers than the old ones.

If you have the old ones, do not buy these, you will not get better quality, since these are only 48 ohms and the old ones go up to 250 ohms (depending on the version you bought).

But to be honest, using a DAC will immediately make them 20% better, with louder sound and better quality (especially in the bass).

I would recommend looking at the Fiio K11 if you want a DAC, it is very good and cheap (currently 150 euros).

It is a small and very powerful DAC that can amplify up to 250 ohms if your headphones support it.

  • Excellent build quality and quite good sound with a bit more emphasis on the high frequencies. Therefore, if one prefers a more flat sound, equalization may be needed.
It has good low-end extension with very good body. So much so that you expect the kick drum to hit your chest, but then you remember you are listening with headphones and not a gigantic subwoofer.
Quite sensitive, so they are easily driven by almost any source. This means they can easily produce dangerously high sound levels. First, turn on the source with the volume at zero and then put them on! Be careful!

It is not a bad headset but compared to its predecessor, the 770pro, it falls quite short. If someone can drive the 770pro 80ohm, then they simply don't need these. Yes, they are easy to drive and make a party in your ear even with a mobile phone. Yes, they are of the same construction and maybe even a bit better than the 770pro, but forget the warm, cohesive sound of the 770pro. Lacking and without body in the lows, slightly subdued and indifferent mids, and highs that are Japanese, meaning tinny...
