He was a visionary who perceived the existence of forces that are not revealed through scientific thought or microscopic analysis.

He also had the exceptional gift of making abstract concepts understandable, effortlessly communicating with the reader, showing empathy, and captivating them with a fluid and vibrant literary style, opening unexpected paths to a different understanding of the spirit and the world.

Skarlat Demetriescu (1872–1945) served as a professor of natural sciences and geography and was an author of works that publicized science. He taught at the most important high schools in Bucharest, such as "Saint Sava" and "George Lazar," and also engaged in a rich journalistic activity. He was the author of educational books on botany and zoology, while simultaneously being drawn to metaphysical and spiritual aspects.
