A rare book - a documentary: the life journey of the successful Dutch actor Josef van den Berg, who experienced a dramatic conversion to Orthodoxy and passed away as an ascetic at the Monastery of the Transfiguration in Sochos, Halkidiki.

In the first chapter, the book follows the various stages of his life; in the second chapter, we read moving, spiritually rich excerpts from his personal diary; and in the third chapter, we find articles about him and interviews.

The book concludes with an exceptional insert of color photographs of the ascetic Josef van den Berg.
