The Kamatsu Tokyo hook is manufactured in Japan and features a body made of very thin wire, a long shank, and a ring with a large eye. It is extremely strong for its size.

The Japanese company has designed this particular hook to be used as a single Assist Hook on small artificial lures. For the Mediterranean, the Kamatsu Tokyo is also an excellent choice as a micro-assist hook for techniques such as Ultra Light Rock Fishing and Ajing, as well as for fishing with biodegradable and live worms.

In Black Nickel color, the Tokyo hook series has a long shank, semi-circular bend, sharp barb, and a ring with increased diameter. It is forge-hardened and chemically sharpened from high-quality carbon steel for an ultra-sharp edge and increased durability.

The wire is made from VHI-Carbon for even lower weight, and features a Black Nickel finish that reduces corrosion effects.
