Garden Rush is a tile-placement battle game for two players set in a vegetable garden. Players compete to grow vegetables in their garden and fill their basket before their neighbor does. Careful planning is required to plant vegetables in unique patterns for future harvesting, while monitoring the shared transport lane between the gardens is crucial.
Players place one tile per round to build their garden, following the harvesting patterns for each vegetable. Additional abilities, including Take That options, can be acquired through special tiles on the board or the scoring track. The first player to reach 40 points or have the highest score when the tiles run out wins.
