For this price, I am evaluating only one of its features, which is very useful to me. Yes, it is 100% not accurate but with a new battery you can find the following very important things for buildings: 1. Distance of connectors in a column or beam, and even if you break a corner you can see the cross-section. 2. Number of longitudinal reinforcement bars, e.g. in a column (here with reservations because you go deeper and often miss some reinforcement elements or get confused if some are very close together). The bars must have little overlap and be few in number, but who can say they haven't encountered countless houses with three rods per side or even one at each corner, old constructions? So here too, in many cases, it is useful. 3. Distribution in buildings. It helps you find structural elements like columns and beams embedded in walls.
Yes, it is not a specialized instrument for this job but for this money you always have it with you, it is light and you are not afraid of it getting damaged. You immediately get an idea of what is in front of you.
Regarding what they say about drilling with a bit and not finding rods, I have done it and had successful results (maybe there is a different production series?). For better accuracy, it requires a bit of careful handling by watching the indicator, which is the point where it shows an increase. I have not used it for electricity.

Αυτό που λένε ότι τρύπησαν με αρίδι και δε βρήκαν σίδερα εγώ το έχω κάνει και είχα επιτυχή αποτελέσματα (μπορει να υπάρχει και διαφορετική σειρά παραγωγής?). Για καλύτερη ακρίβεια θέλει λίγο προσεκτικό χειρισμό βλέποντας την ένδειξη, που είναι το σημείο που εμφανίζεται αυξημένη. Για ρεύμα δεν το έχω χρησιμοποιήσει.

I have been the owner of a Bosch laser meter for years, which has never disappointed me, and the time has come for me to acquire a mainly rebar detector.

I did some research on Stanley and the green series of Bosch, and also based on the recommendations of a very reputable tool store, I understood that most of them are for amateur use and are aimed at household use.
So far, the tool covers what I want: to find where there are columns and beams, reliably, without the anxiety of making a mistake.
So far, it has not disappointed me at all in the scans I do.
I will not go into detail about the power lines, although I think it gives very good detections there as well.
Of course, if you are very demanding and need a lot of detail, you go for much more expensive tools.

δομικού οπλισμού.
Δεν θα προχωρήσω σε λεπτομέρειες αν έχει ακρίβεια στα 2 ή 3 εκατοστά και
πόσους ράβδους οπλισμού καταλαβαίνει, ή πόσα καλώδια ρεύματος κλπ.
Αρχιτέκτονας είμαι, ήθελα απλά ενα αξιόπιστο εργαλείο, να μην πετάξω τα χρήματα
μου σε κάτι που δεν δουλεύει, μόνο και μόνο επειδη το πήρα σε καλή τιμή.
Οι σωστοί επαγγελματίες χρειάζονται καλά εργαλεία.
Εκανα μια έρευνα σε Stanley και στη πράσινη σειρά της Bosch και επίσης και από
τις υποδείξεις ενος πολυ σοβαρού καταστήματος εργαλείων, κατάλαβα οτι τα περισσότερα
είναι ερασιτεχνικά και απευθύνονται σε οικιακή χρήση.
Μέχρι στιγμής το εργαλείο με καλύπτει σε αυτό που θέλω: να βρίσκω που
υπάρχουν κολώνες και δοκάρια, αξιόπιστα όμως και όχι με το αγχος να έχει γίνει λάθος.
Μέχρι στιγμής δεν με έχει απογοητεύσει καθόλου στις αποτυπώσεις που κάνω.
Δεν θα αναφερθώ με σχολαστικότητα στα ρεύματα αν και νομίζω οτι και εκεί δίνει
πολύ καλές ανιχνέυσεις.
Εννοείται οτι αν είσαι πολύ απαιτητικός και χρειάζεσαι πολύ λεπτομέρεια, πας σε
πολύ ακριβότερα εργαλεία.

Easy and convenient product to use and read the indications. It is quite good at finding metallic elements on walls, but only if they are isolated. In the case of wanting to measure on reinforced concrete or beams, it gets confused and often gives incorrect readings, making it practically useless. Its effectiveness on drywall was good, but keep in mind that these devices need to detect current flowing through the cables to find them. If there is no current, they won't detect anything.
It has good features and if it cost 15-20 euros, it would be okay. At 70+, it is completely impractical and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Είναι αρκετά καλό στο να βρίσκει τα μεταλλικά στοιχεία στους τοίχους μόνο όμως εαν αυτα είναι μεμονωμένα. Στην περίπτωση που θέλουμε πχ να κάνουμε μέτρηση σε οπλισμένη πλάκα ή σε δοκάρι μπερδεύεται και βγάζει πολλές φορές λανθασμένες ενδείξεις καθιστώντας το πρακτικά άχρηστο. Στην ξηροτοιχία η αποτελεσματικότητά του ήταν καλή ενώ έχετε υπ' όψιν οτι αυτες οι συσκευές για να βρούν τα καλώδια του ρεύματος απο αυτα πρέπει να διέρχεται ρεύμα. Εαν όχι δεν βλέπουν τίποτα.
Έχει καλά στοιχεία και αν έκανε 15-20 ευρώ θα ήταν οκ. Στα 70+ είναι εντελώς ασύμφορο και δεν μπορώ να το προτείνω σε κανέναν.

I did some research on Stanley and the green series of Bosch, and also based on the recommendations of a very reputable tool store, I understood that most of them are for amateur use and are aimed at household use.
So far, the tool covers what I want: to find where there are columns and beams, reliably, without the anxiety of making a mistake.
So far, it has not disappointed me at all in the scans I do.
I will not go into detail about the power lines, although I think it gives very good detections there as well.
Of course, if you are very demanding and need a lot of detail, you go for much more expensive tools.

δομικού οπλισμού.
Δεν θα προχωρήσω σε λεπτομέρειες αν έχει ακρίβεια στα 2 ή 3 εκατοστά και
πόσους ράβδους οπλισμού καταλαβαίνει, ή πόσα καλώδια ρεύματος κλπ.
Αρχιτέκτονας είμαι, ήθελα απλά ενα αξιόπιστο εργαλείο, να μην πετάξω τα χρήματα
μου σε κάτι που δεν δουλεύει, μόνο και μόνο επειδη το πήρα σε καλή τιμή.
Οι σωστοί επαγγελματίες χρειάζονται καλά εργαλεία.
Εκανα μια έρευνα σε Stanley και στη πράσινη σειρά της Bosch και επίσης και από
τις υποδείξεις ενος πολυ σοβαρού καταστήματος εργαλείων, κατάλαβα οτι τα περισσότερα
είναι ερασιτεχνικά και απευθύνονται σε οικιακή χρήση.
Μέχρι στιγμής το εργαλείο με καλύπτει σε αυτό που θέλω: να βρίσκω που
υπάρχουν κολώνες και δοκάρια, αξιόπιστα όμως και όχι με το αγχος να έχει γίνει λάθος.
Μέχρι στιγμής δεν με έχει απογοητεύσει καθόλου στις αποτυπώσεις που κάνω.
Δεν θα αναφερθώ με σχολαστικότητα στα ρεύματα αν και νομίζω οτι και εκεί δίνει
πολύ καλές ανιχνέυσεις.
Εννοείται οτι αν είσαι πολύ απαιτητικός και χρειάζεσαι πολύ λεπτομέρεια, πας σε
πολύ ακριβότερα εργαλεία.

Easy and convenient product to use and read the indications. It is quite good at finding metallic elements on walls, but only if they are isolated. In the case of wanting to measure on reinforced concrete or beams, it gets confused and often gives incorrect readings, making it practically useless. Its effectiveness on drywall was good, but keep in mind that these devices need to detect current flowing through the cables to find them. If there is no current, they won't detect anything.
It has good features and if it cost 15-20 euros, it would be okay. At 70+, it is completely impractical and I cannot recommend it to anyone.
Εύκολο και βολικό προϊόν στην χρήση και την ανάγνωση των ενδείξεων.
Είναι αρκετά καλό στο να βρίσκει τα μεταλλικά στοιχεία στους τοίχους μόνο όμως εαν αυτα είναι μεμονωμένα. Στην περίπτωση που θέλουμε πχ να κάνουμε μέτρηση σε οπλισμένη πλάκα ή σε δοκάρι μπερδεύεται και βγάζει πολλές φορές λανθασμένες ενδείξεις καθιστώντας το πρακτικά άχρηστο. Στην ξηροτοιχία η αποτελεσματικότητά του ήταν καλή ενώ έχετε υπ' όψιν οτι αυτες οι συσκευές για να βρούν τα καλώδια του ρεύματος απο αυτα πρέπει να διέρχεται ρεύμα. Εαν όχι δεν βλέπουν τίποτα.
Έχει καλά στοιχεία και αν έκανε 15-20 ευρώ θα ήταν οκ. Στα 70+ είναι εντελώς ασύμφορο και δεν μπορώ να το προτείνω σε κανέναν.

In the electrical conductor, it performs poorly. It only achieves accuracy when parallel to the conductor. Accuracy across the conductor is as if it has the eye 2-3 points higher. Caution!

Στον ηλεκτρικο αγωγο τα κανει μανταρα. Μονο παραλληλα με τον αγωγο πετυχαινει εγκαρσια ευστοχια. Εγκαρσια με τον αγωγο ειναι σαν να εχει το ματι 2-3 ποντους πιο πανω. Προσοχη!!!!

A very disappointing detector regarding electrical wires (it doesn't beep even above the socket or the switch), it easily finds metal inside poles, I haven't tested it for wood. I bought a Chinese one from Aliexpress (KAIWEETS-KES 01) and it finds the wires inside the wall.
