The Helvia Zeus 2240CA two-channel power amplifier is designed for small and medium-sized professional audio systems. Each channel features an independent line transformer and can operate on a 70 or 100 V constant-voltage line, or at a low impedance of 4 to 16 Ω. The power output is 240 W per channel at 100 V.

Each channel has a volume control, LED VU meter and clip indicators, and a gain control on the rear panel. The HPF has a cutoff frequency of 400 Hz, while the inputs and outputs are balanced with XLR connections, and the power outputs use Phoenix (Euroblock) connectors. To protect the amplifier, each channel features power-on muting, a signal limiter, thermal protection, and current limiting.
