Gold Size Mixing Glue Lefranc & Bourgeois 12-hour Charbonnel (Gold Size)

Gesso mixing glue for gold leafing in iconography. Traditional 12-hour glue for gold leaves. The gold leaves can be applied 12 hours after the application.

  • High-quality glue with strong adhesion
  • Apply gold leaves after 12 hours
  • Mix very well before use (Very important)
  • Allow the gilded surface to dry for at least one week before applying any protective medium (Varnish or others)
  • Can be thinned up to 10% with turpentine oil
  • If thinned, the drying time can be reduced
  • Clean brushes after use with turpentine oil
  • Lead Free
  • If applied to porous surfaces, it is recommended to prepare the surface with gesso
