Unipak sealing paste is used together with hemp to seal threaded connections in drinking water, domestic hot water (DHW) and central heating (CH) systems, as well as in low-pressure steam systems and similar applications. The connections can be adjusted or repositioned, while the paste makes assembly and disassembly easier.
Its composition includes natural minerals, paraffin oil and water. Its ingredients are approved as additives for use in the food industry. To apply, wrap the hemp along the full length of the thread, coat it with an appropriate amount of paste and tighten the connection. After the appropriate tests, the connection can be put into service.
