Although metallic, there is no heavy metal, just a thin aluminum alloy and plastic.
Due to its light weight, if you try to press the handle down with some force, the toaster lifts up from the back and "leans" forward. It also moves easily on the counter because of its light weight.
The plates are not removable and are also made of some light alloy.
It locks to remain closed during storage, with a clip that is not ergonomic.
The plates open to 180 degrees. There is also a plastic fat collection tray, which simply slides in but does not snap in place. So when moving it, sometimes it comes out of position.
The cable is just ok in length.
There is no power selection switch, the toaster operates permanently at 1500W and has no on-off button.
It has two indicator lights, one red and one green.

Tested for 10 days only with toast.
The power is more than sufficient. I find that the grill lines from the plate's ridges appear quite quickly, before the bread becomes crispy.
Therefore, the plate does not need to be pressed down much during use.
The upper plate can tilt (it does not "lock" with any selector anywhere), but it still makes the back of the toast always a bit more pressed than the front.
This is the biggest minus I attribute to it.

Nevertheless, as far as toast is concerned, it ends up toasting the bread well, the cheese always melts, so if we overlook the slight uneven pressing, I find the toast just fine.

It was not tested with anything else, nor open at 180 degrees, so I have no opinion on how it performs there.
Would I recommend it for toast? If you are not bothered by the fact that due to its light weight and average ergonomics, it moves and lifts relatively easily, then for everything else I would say yes, if you want a toaster on a low budget.
It does not disappoint, the job gets done and relatively quickly.
Don't be misled by the shape/size and the mention of a metal body... the toaster is quite light.

Anyone imagining solid heavy metals, removable cast iron plates, upper plate locking positions, good handle pressing, etc., should not buy it. Unfortunately, good toasters nowadays are called "professional" and cost over 200 euros.

If you want something cheap for toast, maybe some sausage, etc., then the toaster is just ok.

Very good toaster, metallic, powerful, grills quickly and evenly. Compact in size, stores easily. A funny feature is that it does not stand well and if you try to press with the handle it will move out of place.
