Keep the seal stretched!
Minor distortions of the door seal are normal and do not affect its functionality. It is recommended to align the seal before installing it on the appliance. To do this, warm the door seal with a hair dryer or hot water and reshape it by hand.
The thickness of the new door seal may differ slightly from the thickness of the old seal. This difference does not affect the airtight closure of the door or the long-term functionality of the seal. If your appliance has adjustable hinges or hinge stabilization connectors, you can optimize the closing behavior later.
The small side holes in the door seal are necessary for proper operation (essential for ventilation). These are not manufacturing defects.
