The Hemigrammus erythrozonus, also known as the Glowlight Tetra, is a small and popular freshwater fish, ideal for community aquariums. Originating from the Essequibo River in South America, it stands out for the bright orange-golden stripe running along its translucent body.
It reaches a size of about 4–5 centimeters and prefers to live in groups of 6 or more, displaying calm and cooperative behavior. Ideal conditions include a temperature of 22–28°C and a pH of 6.0–7.5.
