The Poecilia reticulata, more widely known as the Guppy, is one of the most popular freshwater fish, especially loved for its vibrant colors and hardiness. The males, measuring 3–4 centimeters, display a great variety of colors and patterns, making them unique in every aquarium.
They are peaceful, social, and easily adapt to various water conditions, with an ideal temperature of 22–28°C and pH 6.8–7.8. It is recommended to keep them in groups, and they can coexist with many other peaceful species.
The male Guppy is ideal for both beginners and experienced aquarists, bringing liveliness and color to the aquarium with minimal requirements.
