The rectangular stone pizza slab transforms your oven or grill into a small pizzeria with a stone oven, bringing Italian style to your kitchen. Your pizza will be as delicious and crispy as the one you are used to from your favorite Italian restaurant.
MATERIAL: high-quality cordierite
The pizza stone is made from cordierite, a durable and heat-resistant material that retains temperature much longer than clay or fireclay.
- Thermal resistance up to 1200°C
- Maximum recommended temperature for the beige stone: 1000°C
- Maximum recommended temperature for the black stone: 800°C
APPLICATION:
Preheat, place the pizza on top, bake, ready!
Place the baking stone in a cold oven or on a cold gas or charcoal grill and heat to 250°C for at least 30 minutes. Simply place the pizza dough on the preheated stone. Bake the pizza as usual until the desired level of browning is achieved.
Due to the high temperature, the pizza is ready in a few minutes and has the characteristic bubbles around the edges. The short baking time has the advantage that the toppings are protected and the flavors are not lost.
CLEANING AND STORAGE:
After baking the pizza, let it cool and do not bring it into direct contact with cold water. Risk of breaking!
For long-term storage, it is recommended to clean only with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use detergents.
Allow both the stone and the spatula to dry thoroughly.
Store in a dry place.
