The Mint SLR 670-S analog camera has been carefully renewed by experts. All internal components of the original Polaroid SX-70 have been completely replaced, and the base has been upgraded for better image quality. After the testing process, a new leather case is applied. The MINT CAMERA SLR-670-S is a recycled and modified Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1, which adds additional features. The SLR-670-S is modified to work only with Polaroid Originals 600 film.

IMAGING WITH TIME MACHINE

The TIME MACHINE device, a unique development by MINT, allows imaging with 600 film (ISO 640) and SX-70 film (ISO 160). It offers two automatic imaging modes and manual imaging.

• A100 – automatic imaging mode with SX-70 film
• A600 – automatic imaging mode with 600 film
• BULB – long exposure mode. The shutter remains open as long as you hold down the button
• T (TIME) – long exposure mode. The shutter opens on the first press and closes on the second
• OFF – imaging mode disabled. Prevents accidental shutter button presses
• 1/2000, 1/1000, 1/500, 1/250, 1/125, 1/60, 1/30, 1/15, 1/8, 1/4, ½ – manual shutter speed selection

For manually selecting the correct speed, a light meter is required. You can use a portable light meter or a smartphone app like Lux (for iOS and Android). The proper exposure depends on the aperture, film type (ISO), shutter speed, and light. The type of film must be set on the light meter and the aperture, which is fixed at f/8 on the SLR-680-S. The light meter will measure the light and, considering the input data, will determine the correct shutter speed to use.
