The isotonic saline solution Solinea NEBU-dose with a concentration of 0.9% is intended for administration via inhalation using nebulizers, as well as for the hygiene of the upper and lower respiratory tracts.

The isotonic saline solution facilitates the removal of secretions from the respiratory tract, thereby improving breathing comfort.

Mechanism of action:

• Breaks the ionic bonds in mucus, thus reducing the viscosity and elasticity of the secretion.
• Absorbs water from the mucosa and submucosa, which helps reduce inflammation of the walls of the respiratory tract.
• Induces a reflex cough and expectoration of secretions, facilitating the removal of mucus from the bronchi, which leads to the clearing of the airways.

The Solinea NEBU-dose 0.9% solution is also intended for daily use for eye and nasal hygiene.

Main indications for use:

• Inhalation therapy: indicated for patients of all ages, especially those suffering from acute bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, or pulmonary conditions. The solution can be administered alone or as a diluent for medications intended for inhalation.
• Eye hygiene: reduces discomfort caused by adverse environmental factors such as air conditioning, high temperatures, dry or polluted air.
• Nasal hygiene: relieves dryness of nasal secretions or rhinitis.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Inhalation therapy: Can be used with any type of nebulizer. Use the isotonic saline solution for aerosol therapy as prescribed by a specialist doctor.

Eye cleansing: The solution can be applied to the surface of the eye after contact lenses have been inserted. Gently squeeze the vial to place a few drops of the solution on the surface of the eye. The eyes can also be cleaned with a sterile compress soaked in saline solution.

Nasal cleansing: Tilt the head back, put a few drops in each nostril, and then return to the original position. Wait 10 minutes before blowing your nose.

Depending on the child's age, different cleaning methods are used. For infants, special devices are used to aspirate nasal mucus. For older children, cleaning is done by blowing the nose, one nostril at a time.

Warnings:

• After opening the vial, use the contents immediately.
• Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use an opened or damaged vial.
