Principle of operation:

The strips are used with a small amount of blood. The blood sample is transported to the strip's reaction area via capillary action. The blood interacts with an enzymatic substance on the strip to produce gluconic acid using the blood glucose. When glucose interacts with the reagent on the electrodes, the device detects current and provides a blood glucose reading.

Instructions for use:

1. Remove a test strip and place it in the device.
2. Check that the code on the device is correct.
3. Use a lancing device to collect a blood sample.
4. Place the fingertip with the blood droplet on the strip and ensure that the blood sufficiently fills the entry.
5. The result will appear on the display after the countdown.
6. Dispose of the used strip and lancet in the waste bin.

Chemical composition of the strips:

• Glucose dehydrogenase (GHD-FAD) ≤1.5 units (microorganism);
• Other materials (buffer, mediator, surfactant, stabilizer, etc.) ≤ 0.2 mg.

Measurement results:

• Measurement range: 20-600 mg/dl (1.1-33.3 mmol/l);
• Normal glucose level before breakfast: 70-105 mg/dL (3.9 - 5.8 mmol/L) - 1 or 2 hours;
• Post-meal:
• If "lo" appears, glucose may be below 20 mg/dL (1.1 mmol/L);
• If "Hi" appears, glucose may exceed 600 mg/dL (33.3 mmol/L).

Accuracy:

The accuracy of the glucose test was performed with fingertip capillary blood and compared with reference calibrators based on the NIST SRM 917 standard. The product meets the requirements of EN ISO 15197.
