The Kosmos Lost Cities board game is a card game for 2 players, who take on exploration expeditions to different locations. Players add cards to expeditions in ascending order or discard them, then draw a card from the deck or from the discard piles. Handshake cards act as investments and multiply the score of the corresponding expedition.
The game ends when the last card is drawn from the deck. Each expedition with cards is scored, while expeditions with at least eight cards earn a 20-point bonus. The game consists of three rounds, and the winner is the player with the highest total score.
