The Levenhuk D95L LCD digital microscope is designed for examining transparent specimens using bright-field and oil-immersion methods. The 7-inch LCD displays the image in real time, while the 2 MP digital camera captures photos and videos. Optical magnification ranges from 40x to 1000x, and digital magnification reaches up to 2000x.

The achromatic glass objective lenses include a 100x objective for use with immersion oil. Focusing can be adjusted coarsely or precisely, while the lower LED illumination has adjustable brightness. The metal body features a mechanical stage with a scale and an Abbe condenser with a numerical aperture of 1.25, an iris diaphragm, and a filter holder.
