Description

The MAGUS Stereo 8B is a binocular microscope with a rotating head. It allows for the work with three-dimensional samples: the microscope creates a three-dimensional image with a large depth of field and provides an authentic view of the object. This makes it convenient for performing necessary tasks on the specimen.

The head of the microscope includes two tubes and is equipped with 10x optical eyepieces with a field of view of 22 mm. A digital camera can be mounted on one of the tubes instead of an eyepiece. The head rotates around its axis and can be positioned at any angle.

The main magnification is provided by the zoom lens. Along with smooth zooming, it adjusts the focal distance of the optical system so that the focus is always on the object. The MAGUS Stereo 8B microscope has a zoom ratio of 8.4:1. You can change the magnification or field of view, as well as adjust the working distance, using auxiliary lenses.

Clarity is adjusted through coaxially mounted adjustment knobs. There are both coarse and fine adjustments. Fine focusing is recommended for magnifications greater than 40x. The knobs are located on both sides of the base. The user can adjust the intensity of the coarse focus movement.

The microscope can be used to observe both transparent and opaque samples. For these purposes, the platform is equipped with two plates: one transparent and one black and white. The first is necessary when working with light transparencies: the lens receives soft and uniform illumination. The second plate is used when working with reflected light.

The lens is illuminated by two LED lights, for transparencies and reflected light. Both have a power of 3 W and a lifespan of 50,000 hours.

This range of microscopes is complemented by a wide range of accessories. The user can obtain the necessary eyepieces and auxiliary lenses to adjust magnification, field of view, and working distance.

For effective sample examination, there are various types of illuminators: a classic ring light, a polarized ring light, a ring light with sector control, and an illuminator with adjustable mounting.

To position the microscope head in the optimal position, you can choose a suitable stand. Placing the specimen on a mechanical platform allows smooth and precise movement along both axes.

Key features: The Greenough optical design provides a 15° stereoscopy angle: observed objects are visible in volume and their proportions are clear. The zoom lens smoothly changes the magnification of the object up to 8.4x while simultaneously adjusting the focus. The main working methods are transmitted light and reflected light in bright field.
