The poetry collection "Duels" by Giannis Tsigkris refers to fields of conflict, arenas filled with passions, victories, and defeats.

Its main theme revolves around the internal disputes of all forms arising from revisions of attitudes or life habits of each person, from the difficult events of love, from the destructive power of Time, but also from the intolerance of socially emotional apathy that obscures all form of sensitivity, constantly pushing the inner "duelist" into continuous conflicts, with the belief that regardless of the outcome of each struggle, only in this way will he face the truth.

Through the "duels," a solution emerges, which leads sometimes to balance, sometimes to death, whether spiritual or emotional, and at other times to freedom.
