The MAGUS Bio 260T microscope is suitable for laboratory and scientific research, as well as for educational purposes. It works with thin transparent and semi-transparent samples using the bright field method. In addition, additional accessories can be installed to expand its capabilities to dark field, phase contrast, polarized light, and fluorescence.

The design includes an encoded revolving nosepiece that can accommodate up to five objectives. The “smart” illumination is automatically activated when the nosepiece is rotated and adjusts to the characteristics of each objective. Thus, no time is required for light adjustment, which is especially important in educational environments or when frequent magnification changes are needed.

The microscope features a trinocular head with an infinity optical system. The eyepiece height is adjustable and the tube can rotate 360°. A digital camera can be mounted on the trinocular tube with a 50/50 light ratio between the camera and the eyepieces. It includes standard 10x/22 mm eyepieces with diopter adjustment mechanism.
