Start by applying mascara at the root of the lashes, at the inner corner of the eye. Sweep the brush over the lashes, coating them as you move upward and outward. Press the lashes at the base, pause briefly, then comb upward to separate and lengthen them. Apply again in upward zigzag strokes from root to tip for more volume and better separation. Using the tip of the brush, apply mascara to the outer corner of the eyes.
