Ready-to-use attract & kill trap for the control of the olive fruit fly (Bactrocera oleae) using the mass trapping method. The trap relies on the release of attractive substances, and the goal is for the insect to come into contact with the inner surface of the trap, which is impregnated with a pyrethroid insecticide (deltamethrin).

• Placement of 5-100 traps per hectare (10 acres) depending on the pressure of the fruit fly population.
• The traps should be placed at a height of 1.5m - 2m on the southern side of the tree canopy in a uniform alternating arrangement.
• Use of monitoring traps is recommended for the proper timing of placement and for continuous monitoring of the fruit fly population status.
• Suitable for use in organic agriculture according to Regulation (EC) 848/2018.
