Review this product
  • This review is about number of basses: 16, colour: Red

I’ve struggled with many models, since it’s not my main instrument but more something I have for company. With this one, if you let go of the traditional mindset, we’re talking about something else, which nevertheless remains an excellent instrument.
First of all, it’s feather-light both to carry and to play, around 5.5 kilos as far as I remember. Secondly, with one breath you can play half a song, whereas with a Welmeister Stella 120 I get a workout. Thirdly, you can practice with headphones without anyone hearing you. Finally, I don’t know whether the eight AA batteries it takes consume a lot, because that is a cost, but if you have rechargeable ones, a set of 16 (I have more), the problem is solved. Of course, as soon as you connect the power supply, the batteries are disabled.
I’m tempted to get a second one too, just in case the production stops (I’m joking, but I’m really very excited about the instrument).
