The Bresser biological microscope features a revolving nosepiece with three objective lenses for switching between magnifications. The LED illumination from below lights specimens using transmitted light, while the built-in diaphragm adjusts the light beam. It is designed for beginners and children and can be used for observations in biology, entomology and botany.

The eyepiece can be removed and replaced with the smartphone holder, allowing the phone to be used as a screen and photos of observations to be captured. The stage has clips, and focusing is controlled with a knob.
