On-Off

The on-off helmet is a combination of a full-face and motocross helmet. It has a smaller chin and visor than the motocross helmet. It offers similar comfort to the full-face helmet but is heavier compared to the motocross helmet. This type of helmet is an economical choice for those who want to combine both types and do not want 2 different helmets.

Thermoplastic

This is a plastic material mainly used in more affordable and entry-level helmets.

Thermoplastic shells, such as Polycarbonate or ABS, offer basic protection through deformation upon impact, with greater weight and lower production cost compared to composite materials.

Certification refers to the official inspection that confirms the helmet meets specific safety standards as defined by international organizations (e.g., ECE, DOT). It is an indication that the helmet has been tested and approved for its ability to protect in real collision conditions.

DOT

Safety standard applicable in the United States. Includes tests for energy absorption, shell strength, and strap retention. It is less stringent than European standards but remains internationally recognized.

ECE 22.06

New European-type safety specification certification "ECE 22.06", which ensures that the helmet is tested at 18 impact check points instead of 6 as was previously the case. It is now considered the most modern and comprehensive standard for helmet safety in Europe.

Included in the packaging

The Pinlock system is included in the helmet packaging and can be installed on the inner side of the visor. The Pinlock is designed to prevent the fogging of the visor, ensuring clear visibility in cold or wet conditions.
