Italian Medical, created in collaboration with the University of Parma, is aimed at foreign students (both Erasmus and non-Erasmus, European and non-European) enrolled in Italian universities and at foreign professionals at B1-B2 level who attend hospitals or universities in Italy.

Due to its structure, it can be used both in the classroom and for self-learning, as solutions to the exercises are provided at the end of the book.

Italian Medical, naturally dedicated to specialized language and medical terminology, consists of ten units organized as follows: the first two are dedicated to vocabulary about the human body and professional instrumentation; the next three cover the National Health System, hospitals, and blood collection in Italy; the last five units, even more specific, each deal with a different system: digestive, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, and musculoskeletal.
