The SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 mechanical keyboard uses OmniPoint 3.0 magnetic switches with Hall Effect sensors and an adjustable actuation point ranging from 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm. Rapid Trigger resets keys immediately after they are released, while Protection Mode reduces the sensitivity of selected keys around the one being pressed, limiting accidental keystrokes.

The OLED display lets you change settings, enable or disable Rapid Trigger, view information and control media. GG QuickSet offers preset settings for games, and Rapid Tap is also included among the keyboard’s features.

The construction includes per-key lubrication, triple-layer sound-dampening foam and stabilizers that reduce key wobble. The Double Shot PBT keycaps resist fading, while per-key RGB lighting offers 16.8 million color options and syncs with other SteelSeries devices through Prism. The detachable braided USB-C cable connects the keyboard to your computer.
