The METALCON metal coupling is made from DCP steel and is electrolytically galvanized.

The product offers satisfactory mechanical strength and is designed to safely connect all VIOFLEX pipes, both rigid and flexible, ensuring a minimum degree of watertightness of IP40.

• Material: DCP steel and electrolytically galvanized.
• Compression test: Category 5 of EN 61386.01 (Very heavy), 4000N.
• Impact test: Category 4 of EN 61386.01 (Heavy), 2.0/300mm.
• Electrical continuity: With electrical continuity characteristics.
• IP watertightness rating: Depends on the pipe it will be connected to.
• Corrosion resistance: Average protection inside & outside (galvanizing thickness 180μm), Category 2 of EN 61386.01.
• Aging resistance: Resistant to UV solar radiation.
• Flame propagation: Does not propagate flame.
• Rodent repellent: Not an attractive food for rodents.
• Harmonization Directive: 2014/35/EU, 2011/65/EU (RoHS).
• Compliance Standard: EN 61386-1:2008.
