Product Description: The GPRS Shield board is based on the SIM900 model from SIMCOM and is compatible with Arduino and its clones. The GPRS Shield provides connectivity via the GSM mobile network, integrating SMS, MMS, GPRS, and audio functions through UART with the transmission of AT commands.

Features:

  • Quad-Band 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz - operates on GSM networks worldwide.
  • GPRS multi-slot class 10/8.
  • Compatible with GSM phase 2/2+.
  • Built-in control via AT commands - Standard commands: GSM 07.07 & 07.05, Enhanced commands: SIMCOM AT Commands.
  • SMS service for sending network data.
  • Integrated TCP/UDP stack.
  • RTC support.
  • Serial port selection.
  • Ports for speaker and headphones.
  • Low power consumption - 1.5mA in sleep mode.
