Description

Experience the ultimate adventure with up to four players. Face over 120 monsters and choose from more than 2,500 weapons to complete your mission.

Use vertical movement to exploit the environment and attack the monsters from behind. The epic story mode offers dozens of hours of exciting gameplay.

Features:

  • Two new weapon categories: the Insect Glaive is a long-rod type weapon accompanied by a powerful flying insect that can be customized with various features; the Blade of Charge is a hybrid weapon that switches between sword and shield or axe mode.
  • More vertical environments: gameplay expands with smoother climbing movements and the addition of jumping attacks from walls or ledges.
  • New gameplay mechanics: for the first time, climb onto monsters and hold on to unleash a series of attacks.
  • New monsters such as the dark and menacing Gore Magala, as well as returning fan-favorites including the primal Tigrex, provide players with the largest list of wild enemies ever.

The only game on the 3DS that makes you forget you're playing on a handheld console. If you have the patience to master at least one of the 14 weapon types (and to kill the same monster several times to get the right materials), if you manage to study the monster's moves so you can avoid its deadly attacks, you may live long enough to see yourself become a "monster"

I've been a big fan of the Monster Hunter games since they were on PSP. I have countless hours in the game, and it's well worth the money.

I am a huge fan of the Monster Hunter series and so far this is the best game in the series. I have spent almost 300 hours playing it and have loved every minute. It is very good and I recommend it, but the Monster Hunter series is not very beginner friendly and for that reason I recommend checking out a beginner's guide before buying it.
