Description
The Prime Radeon™ RX 9060 XT features a 2.5-slot design with a carefully configured layout for the shroud, heatsink, and heat pipes, allowing the three Axial-tech fans to take advantage of side panel ventilation and deliver optimal thermal performance.
Axial Technology Upgrades
Three tested and reliable Axial-tech fans feature a smaller hub that allows for longer blades and a barrier ring to increase downward air pressure for lower temperatures, less noise, and higher performance.
0dB Technology
All three fans stop when the GPU temperatures are below 55°C, allowing you to play less demanding games or perform light tasks in relative silence. The fans start again when the temperatures are above 60°C, creating a speed curve that balances performance and acoustics for work or gaming.
Dual Fan Bearings
Different types of bearings have unique advantages and disadvantages. Double ball joint bearings excel in durability and can last up to twice as long as sleeve bearing designs.
Ventilated Backplate
The large ventilation holes on the backplate significantly improve heat dissipation, keeping the GPU cooler during intensive tasks. This additional airflow helps ensure optimal temperatures, enhancing performance, longevity, and stability, while protecting against overheating and thermal throttling.
MaxContact Design
MaxContact is a specialized manufacturing process by ASUS that effectively increases the surface area of the heat spreader located above the GPU by 5% compared to traditional designs. This improves temperatures by up to 2°C, in combination with an extended heatsink layout and powerful Axial-tech fans.
Dual BIOS
Do you prioritize low core temperatures or low noise levels? Performance mode allows the fans to spin to keep the card running continuously, while Quiet mode maintains the same power target and limit settings, but offers a less aggressive fan curve for quieter operation at moderate temperatures.
Auto-Extreme Technology
An automated manufacturing process that sets new industry standards by allowing all soldering to be completed in a single pass, ASUS Auto-Extreme technology reduces thermal stress on components and avoids the use of harsh cleaning chemicals, resulting in fewer environmental impacts, lower manufacturing energy consumption, and an overall more reliable product.
