The method is based on the philosophy that children learn music like their native language: listening, singing, playing, and reading. The program includes songs, rhythm exercises, auditory activities, and games with the keyboard, aiming to develop the musical ear and internal auditory perception. The book is accompanied by a CD with recordings of the pieces, so that children can practice at home, while teaching takes place in a group environment with parental participation, enhancing interactivity and emotional connection with music. “Primary 1” forms the foundation for the next levels of the Yamaha series, offering a holistic and experiential approach to preschool music education.
