With its lightweight and ergonomic design that emphasizes forefoot flexibility, the TR1 reflects the basketball star's approach to training.

"The TR1 is for the athlete who constantly strives for greatness and works hard, day after day," says LeBron. "Training is a huge part of my journey and this shoe is designed for athletes who can use it during any workout, anytime, anywhere." 

Information from Nike's Sports Research Lab fueled the development of the TR1. The resulting shoe offers a sleek street design aimed at indoor performance and outdoor versatility. 

The TR1 features an ergonomic and lightweight design that focuses on stability, with an emphasis on the flexibility of the forefoot to enhance performance. Additionally, the removal of the strobel - the lowest part of the shoe's upper - allows the user to be closer to the foam cushioning that gives the TR1 its characteristic responsiveness.

The unique inverted waffle outsole of the TR1 provides superior traction where it's needed most, while the midsole wrap ensures stability, support, and comfort. 

Furthermore, the shoe's wide shape and glove-like construction cleverly allow room to accommodate foot swelling during training.
