It is definitely better than many simple sand products, clumps quickly and the odors are minimal compared to bentonite. BUT, the product is TOFU and not bentonite. If I compare it with another TOFU product (whole and not broken like this one, e.g. the one with the red packaging that is more expensive than this one), it has NOTHING in common; the ammonia smell is noticeable after 15 days (with cleaning at least once a day), the dust is endless while with the whole tofu there was none at all, the scattering is all over the house but that is also due to my cat, while with the whole tofu there was none at all. In general, compared to bentonite it is a slightly better product, but compared to tofu it is very bad. I would not buy broken tofu again.

On the positive side, the litter has excellent clumping, which means the bottom of the tray stays clean. Also, odor absorption is top-notch — even seconds after being used by our two cats, it doesn’t smell at all.
On the negative side, the scatter is moderate, as quite a bit of litter remains around the tray. However, the main reason I won’t choose it again is the excessive dust. The walls of the litter box have turned white, and during cleaning the dust is noticeable even in my breathing.
Although its positives are excellent and hard to find in another litter, the level of dust is a deterrent for me.
