I have had the cooktops for 6 years in my house and they are used daily. They are definitely a poor choice in terms of the layout of the cooktops since it is impossible to use 2 large or medium pots together. I realized this when I saw them placed, but it was too late...

In their use, they are extremely easy and practical. The buttons are sensitive and respond even with a wet hand or glove. They heat up very satisfactorily and cool down quite quickly. The lock feature for the buttons is very useful for cleaning or when you have a child.

Aesthetically, they are very beautiful, especially due to the absence of a metal frame. They have developed scratches, but we are not very careful with cleaning... they have not broken even though various things have fallen on them (even a can from a neighboring cupboard).

When I needed service, I received assistance from the dealership in 2 days.

Let's not kid ourselves, at just over 180 euros, it is a very good deal...

The worst choice... everything negative you read is true. Luckily, the glass broke and I bought a different brand. The quality of construction was evident in the opening of the device... scattered cables and for protection on the circuit board, the godless ones have put a piece of CARDBOARD!!!

I will agree with all the negative reviews, on everything!! Poor eye configuration. You can't have two large or even medium-sized pots on top at the same time, as they don't fit. The eyes flicker when they heat up, very sensitive to anything you touch on them. It doesn't clean easily and no matter how careful I was, it scratched. And of course, it didn't just crack when an object fell on it, but it broke into pieces since it was on the edge of the stove, so it shattered. It was not my choice but the homeowner's, and now I have to replace it.

I don't know what and why such comments are being written, maybe I am one of the lucky ones, but I have had this stove for 6 years and it works flawlessly every day, it heats up immediately and hasn't suffered the slightest damage. I want to emphasize that it really withstands because many times my little hot wheels car has been thrown at it and the stove didn't break. Now, as for those who claim that it cracks with a spoon, I don't know... The only downside is that it has two medium-sized eyes, while it should have a smaller one for the coffee pot.

Good kitchen stoves, they heat up and cook food quickly, easy touch design but the arrangement of the burners is not convenient at all, as the two large ones should be diagonal and not on the same side, so that we can cook simultaneously with two large pots. Other than that, satisfied with the cooking speed and Whirlpool warranty!!

The worst stove choice, I agree with the others about the poor design of the burners since you can't use the two largest ones simultaneously, and additionally, in the two months that I had it, a spoon fell on it while I was cooking and it started cracking everywhere, it broke on the entire surface. If you pay attention, its glass is of poor quality.

At first, when you turn it on, the performance is strong but then it drops. The thermostat seems to be malfunctioning, probably opening and closing too easily. This is due to the fact that the tablet with the buttons is very sensitive, even when you clean it, the buttons flicker. In general, the buttons are very sensitive and the eyes are in the wrong position. I would recommend getting something else

Very poor ergonomics of the burners (2 large ones in the front and back).
It immediately presented a fault (the boiling would stop - the burners would turn off every three and a bit and then turn on by themselves, resulting in a significant delay in cooking and alteration of the texture of the food).
When frying, it mostly boiled the food.
The service came promptly and acknowledged the problem.
Upon contacting the company, they offered a return.
I took it to the store where I bought it and got a different brand, paid the difference, and everything is fine.

Two months ago I bought this built-in stove. Second time without a kitchen. The first time they repaired it. Now it's broken again. The service will come in a week from the moment of the damage. No mention of replacing it. Very disappointing.

The truth is that the arrangement of the burners is not practical, the two large burners placed on the left are not user-friendly as they do not fit two large pots together. Unfortunately, I did not notice this from the beginning.
Now, on the positive side:
They are extremely fast, at least for me the touch keys work fine and the lock option is quite convenient when you have small children at home.

The worst choice of my life.
It was purchased from a relative's store, who should have and had to prevent me from buying Whirlpool for the first time.
Within 3 years, nothing works properly and two days ago, the oven got damaged.

For two and a half years, we simply endured. The touch buttons took two or three attempts to work in the morning. The power of the large burner was good, but after 5 minutes, it would go into protection mode and lower on its own. It was very annoying that if you turned off a burner and tried to turn it on immediately, it wouldn't accept the high setting and would only work on a lower power level. Today, one of the burners broke and relieved us from the trouble.

P.S. I was forced to give it one star in order to submit the review, it doesn't even deserve one.

Very bad choice! I also decided to try the whirlpool, but it was a big mistake! I experienced exactly what they mentioned above! It cracked on its own without any reason or cause, and also the corner broke just by touching a pot slightly on the edge of the stove, which proves that it is not ceramic material. I also agree that the two largest burners are close together, which doesn't allow you to have two pots side by side, simply because they don't fit! So if you plan on cooking a meal with two dishes, forget it! I have been cooking for 25 years, and this is the first time I have bought stoves of this type! I will never buy this brand again, that's for sure!

The eyes are indeed misplaced, but it doesn't bother me much. Its eyes are very strong and the glass doesn't easily scratch. And what I liked most is that it is made in Italy and not in China or Turkey like most of them! That alone is a reason to buy! Whirlpool is the biggest company in the world.

Excellent device and economical... We have been using it constantly for a year and a half, without any complaints.. Powerful burners, design, and convenient timer..

In 2 years, it had a motherboard issue, the technician came and charged 30€,
Motherboard replacement cost 130€.
I don't repair it, I don't trust it.

The arrangement of the burners is unacceptable. The large burners are located on the left side and both, not diagonally, resulting in not being able to fit two large utensils (24cm pan and pot) at the same time and they stick out of the frame. Result? Impossible to use anything other than one utensil! Imagine wanting to set a table or, the simplest thing, to cook for the different needs of family members. The distance between the burners is minimal and here is another problem with the small burners. I had to change it, at my own expense, within three days from the day I bought it! Who designed such an "intelligent" industrial model?

The problem is that the arrangement of the eyes is such that you cannot use both eyes simultaneously, one in front and one behind, because the utensils do not fit. In other words, you cannot use both big eyes on the right simultaneously, nor both small eyes on the right simultaneously. Only one big and one small eye. Unacceptable because when, for example, you have a table that you need to cook a lot with this specific stove, you have to start from the previous day or have the utensils on the stove and waste electricity for nothing, but also damage your utensils. Ergonomics is zero, in a few words.

It broke just by touching the wet sponge.. on the hot stove.. in the first month of purchase and the company does not replace it!! The quality and customer service are unacceptable!

The worst thing there is. The big eye barely boils water. The two big ones are next to each other. It turns off by itself if I put it on 6 from the beginning, just when it will light up the corner broke without any impact, just from the weight of the pot, obviously it won't be ceramic, just fire-resistant glass.

I had exactly the same experience.. Whirlpool insists that we did something wrong, that the crack came from our own impact.. It's a shame, I had a good opinion of this company, they probably have a system for this. The technician who came for the inspection took some photos as evidence to show his supervisor. But without the appliance for repair, how can they draw the right conclusions with just photos? In short, they won't replace it.. Very disappointing..

Whirlpool AKT8090 NE
- Purchased on Jan 21, which means not even 5 months ago.
- Cooks once a day and not every day.
- The kitchen glass initially showed slight peeling and now it has cracked.
Regarding Whirlpool ceramics in general (from what I understood):
- The top glass does not have a warranty!!!!
- The replacement and installation of a new glass cost 154€. I bought it for 179€!!!!
